FTL travel will enable our colonies to stay [...] Now we have quickly looked at the short term objectives it’s time to look at the long term ones. ● Developing Faster Than Light travel and get out there Plenty of theories are out there. I have no idea which one will give us the best way to start our exploration of space but [...] ● Look at the impact on our society of changes such as fewer menial jobs Whenever there is change there is fear. People do not like it and thus we must look ahead and try and alleviate these issues. I foresee several issues with the objectives I have listed. Improving health care will mean [...] We now have the technology to allow each of us more involvement in the political process. ● Introduce true leadership using technology and get rid of professional politicians The last decade has shown us how quickly corrupt politicians can change our way of life. Why do we need to stick to an archaic solution in [...] Our time is precious. We have so little of it and certainly not enough to spend doing what we do not want to be doing. We need to fix this. ● Develop robots to do our menial tasks Now who would not want to never have to work again?
