It seems that a Deep Space mission is the current frontrunner in a NASA review due to be published soon. Read here. This Deep Space mission will involve travelling to asteroids, landing on one, and even a visit to Mars, although by the looks of it not to land.
I only hope that by the time the report is out and the budgets are being considered that the US can afford to actually have a space programme.
Well yes but the deep space idea is mighty nice, all the same. I’d like to know what’s out there.
Well with the limitations we have you still won’t know all that much. Personally, I’d prefer if we build a much larger space station and developed robots to do this ‘deep’ space exploration.
