Well it seems that as part of the great cutbacks designed to get the countrys books balanced quickly *cough* we can look forward to cuts in the science budgets. Read the story here.
Totally expected, after all everything needs to be looked at, even companies are doing it, and if it doesn’t give a return in year zero then its shelved. Still disappointing though.

Found on Bob’s Head Revisited, and this is oh so true, not just for graphic designers but for everyone in IT. If I had £1 for the number of times I have been told ‘My 12 year old son could do it in an evening for £50′. I always said ‘OK then, let me know how it goes’. I’ve even had a few who actually go away and do it as well. Mmmm. Memories. The stories I have.
