Here is one of the ways that politics screws us over.
Now remember than I am convinced that what our governments are doing in the name of climate change is actually wrong. But, let us assume for a minute it is 100% right and it needs to be done with the urgency that our government says.
Here is where political animals screw us over for their own benefits. In the US they are linking the Health Care bill everyone hates with the Climate Change bill. Read this article where it says they cannot have the Climate Change reforms unless the Health Care reforms go through in a clear ploy to force the Health care bill through despite the opposition it is facing. Who would have thought it, vote for socialist Health Care to save the planet.
And they wonder why people hate politicians so much.
Completely right and on that point, I hve a post coming up later on writing the rules for the bastards to have to abide by. I know shooting them is better but it costs money and time.
Someone in the U.S. made a terrific observation which is an odd twist. The old thinking is one must raise taxes to meet obligations. But the Obots are desperate to both have health care and climate change legislation to justity high and permanent taxes.
and don’t forget subservience to the state. Both those bills will enable snooping into peoples homes and businesses well beyond what is in place now.
I’d happy spend the money on bullets and people topull the triggers. It’s a one off and will save us billions in the long run.
