I’ve always been amazed at how much time, money and effort people spend making the perfect cup of tea or coffee. Personally, a tea bag and some hot water to flavour is it for me. However, it still came as a surprise to see this machine, intended for a household as it hold six memory slots, which remembers exactly how each user wants their coffee and makes it the same every time. Sounds good. It should be for over $2,000.
Makes you wonder how people that are so finicky would do if they ever had to live off the grid. Perhaps even without coffee at all and living on nettle tea or something. In case you are interested then here is a recipe for nettle tea. It isn’t as bad as it sounds but it’s nowhere near as good as tea or coffee, even made by me and not a machine that costs $2K.

True but many don’t live off the grid and have copious amounts of coffee. I do think good coffee requires more preparation than tea.
Perhaps it does but it does sound like overkill to me. Maybe I’m just being a bit of a scrooge.
