It seems that from next week I will get joining the army of the unemployed. Sadly because of the way it happened I leave my current employ in a similar way to most of the contestants on Anne Robinsons show, The Weakest Link, with nothing.
I case you wonder how this can be. I was offered another role for a different company. After accepting the role and handing in my notice at my old firm the new role has been withdrawn before I even started. I have been informed I could sue them, which I could, but it would be of minimal benefit. Personally I was thinking of something in parabellum which would give me more satisfaction but apparently that is illegal. Seems everything I want to do is illegal here nowadays.
Oh well, at least I’ll get back some of the money I paid into the system over the last few decades. If there is any left of course.
