Here is a predator that is top of the food chain. It can even overcome humans. Only our ability to use tools to kill it allows us to win out over it. Yet it is sadly not liked by the whingy whiney liberals because it has the unfortunate ability to look after itself and doesn’t need state aid. Unlike pandas, koalas and the like that are too dumb to survive in a changing environment this one is adaptable and tenacious.
The Giant Snakehead, called the world evilest fish, it can crawl over land to the next pond once it has decimated the one it is in as it can survive four days out of water. One has recently, in 2008, been found in the UK which is causing concern. Read here. Attempts to control it require the total destruction of all living things in the water and having snipers surround the area killing them as they attempt to find another feeding ground and even with that approach they have not been contained.
This creature can grow to over 3 foot long. Has a mouthful of razor sharp teeth and will eat anything it can. Luckily it is only found in warmer climates and, for me, I find the first reason I can subscribe to for stopping global warming. Don’t want that around me when I’m up to my waist in a river or lake in the UK. No thank you.
