James, No need. He is already proficient at it. Years and years of practise leaves him being able to make a lie up and ten seconds later actually believe it is the truth.

Its funny so many people have an interest in sliding scales. It is a really confusing subject. Makes life interesting.

I was going to do a post on sliding scales too and in fact did one but not about databases. Novel approach - to lie. I'll have to suggest that to Gordo.

Well I'm sure they will screw them up no matter what. As far as the sheeple are concerned they have been riled up to believe every screw up this goverment has done is the fault of immigrants so they want it stopped. This gives the goverment freedom to impliment policies under the banner of It's what the people want.

Funny,I was going to do a post on sliding scales, too.

Why worry about data bases in England? They'll only lose them anyway!
I love the way the government tries to hide their increassing control of people by saying things like ID cards will keep immigants out, knowing that ninety-nine per cent of people, according to their data bases, resent immigration[which no doubt is artificially inflated to stir their xenophobia and further the gov't's agenda] to push through their Big Brother bills.
