Short term objectives – Leadership

We now have the technology to allow each of us more involvement in the political process.

● Introduce true leadership using technology and get rid of professional politicians

The last decade has shown us how quickly corrupt politicians can change our way of life.     Why do we need to stick to an archaic solution in this modern age?

When our system was first introduced it was impractical for everyone to get involved.  It simply took too long for messages to travel back and forward and thus we had representatives to act in our stead.    Now these representatives do not represent us at all but have instead set themselves up as a special class, a political class, and are busy corrupting our society for their own ends.   Luckily for us there are still some rules in place which they have not yet had the balls to change.  They are working on them slowly.    We need to act now.

Not long ago they introduced their idea of moving politics into the 21st century.  Postal voting.  It really made me laugh.  The postal system being around for over 100 years at this point.

My idea is slightly different.    Why don’t we get rid of the politicians?    We no longer need them and no government would have been better than this lot.  Look at how well Belgium did without a government.    We can replace them with personal involvement and responsibility.

I propose that our process is set up so that anyone who wants a change in the law raises a proposal to do so.    Anyone can comment on the benefits and downsides of that proposal and comments will be visible to all.    A month, 6 weeks, etc.  after the proposal the votes are tallied and a Yay or Nay pronounced.    If approved the law would then go through.  In not not.   Rules would have to be put in place to stop repeated attempts to put the same laws through or repeated attempts with slightly different statements but the same thing.  Plus rules on exactly what is acceptable as arguments for either side.

To ensure the voting was fair it would be handled by computer and each voter would use two factor authentication to ensure it was them.   This would necessitate a single ID db but similar to the old NI one and not the KGB style one proposed by our current masters.

Basically new law proposed and put on the website.   Arguments both ways ensure.   Voter logs in reads the arguments and them makes their vote.

This of course necessitates everyone being connected to broadband but this should not be a problem soon.

The biggest downer of all.    We are really too thick to do this.    Mmmmm.  Maybe we need a voters qualification.  Pass the test and you can vote.

As the final part of this we need to have the few civil servants left being made accountable to us.   I see this being handled by every memo, report, expenses sheet etc. being published on the web for scrutiny.  Every department excluding certain departments in the MoD that handle classified materials on spies, troop positions etc.  Something that would be useful to the enemy.    And before you start showing MPs expenses and how corrupt they are does not qualify.
